The 17th annual Star Screen Awards took place in India’s entertainment capital Mumbai last Thursday.The award for the best actor was given to Salman Khan, Robin Hood Chulbul Pandey while the best actress was given to Vidya Balan for her role in famous flick Ishqiya.The best film award went to the small scale movie Udaan by director Vikramaditya Motwane. Udaan had a tough competition with other veteran movies while Vikramaditya bagged the spot for the best filmmaker beating Anusha Rizvi, Dibakar Banerjee, Prakash Jha and many other good directors for the spot.
